Painting time

De verdad que quiero un dragón rojo, ¡que alguien me regale uno :)! Y que venga con alguna historia corta de regalo (sé que os gustan las historias).

I really really want a red dragon, someone give me one as a present :)! And better if it comes with a short story (I know you like stories).

  5. A red dragon ? That's not easy ! In one of my space-time travel i met a very old Dragler, well you know, a dragon seller. He was selling bones, cranes, some egg shells, a claw. Some weird insects too.
    No dragons ? - i aksed.
"Haha ! of course not. Dragons .. oh ... you don't seem to know." he answered.
    "They d'ont exists ?" i tried.
I got a long answer : " Wrong baby !. That's YOU. YOU don't exist silly time traveller. I'll tell you a secret, the greatest of all. The very fabric of our Univers, you, me, the forces of nature, love and hate, EVERYTHING is just a dream. A Dragon's dream. Yes, you've heard it. Dragons do exists. They spend most of their lives sleeping. And dreaming ... of our world. Our World is just a big puzzle of dragon's dreams. But sometimes a dragon awakes and stop to dream. At that time, someone dies or something comes to an end. Sometimes you feel alone, or empty. that's because the Dragon doesn't sleeps well. Sometimes you just enjoy life like never : a sign that your dragon is deeply asleep ! If you start to feel too much sadness, try to get happier quickly, go out, meet friends, have a good movie or book, do some shopping or your Dragon could awake. A very bad option for you.".
We talked for a few hours, he told me many other thing about dragons that makes me think today :
The red dragon you draw, the one you dream of, he really exists. He's just asleep, and he's dreaming of you, and of him :)
Phew. So no need to offer you one, you already have one :)
(sorry, you shouldn't have written "I know you like stories ;)" )

    1. Mmmm well, since you gave me a story, I'll give you a fast sketch.. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/443/tinta.jpg/

To be honest, that's not the best story you have told me! But it's true that with my personality it will fit me having a dragon inside me sleeping hahahaha(or better said, me being inside him while he sleeps). Anyway, it seems everything it's a big excuse ofthe Universe to not give me a dragon :(!

  6. Wow thanks ! I've just put it in a locker. When you will be famous, that drawing will be worth a cauldron of gold :) Ok ok that's not the best story, but it has some soul, because it's part of a story i've read when i was a child. It seems the author of the story was inspired by the mystic symbol Ouroboros ( http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouroboros ) which is somehow connected to Alchemy. So maybe there is a true secret in that story, waiting to be revealed :)

    1. Regarding Dragons, have you seen http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Com_ensinistrar_un_drac ??
I loved it. You should too.

    2. Oooh I know what an Ouroboros is because it appears in the book "The Never Ending Story", which I read when I was a kid and I found it absolutely fascinating (and it stills seems awesome now), but in the book wasn't called that way, I think it was Auryn. I can't imagine you haven't read this book, it's a MUST for everyone! Please, tell me you have read it.

And of course I have seen the movie hahahaha who do you think you are talking to? I found it so sweet, it was beautiful.

  8. Never ending story ... How do you know that, that's MY movie (1984) :)))) Falkor is all mine ! :)) Artax :( Ok i've never read the book :/ but i so loved (and watched) the movie. I have even posted a video about it on facebook a few weeks ago. I discovered that there is a never ending story 2, and a 3, but the magic is all gone in those.
For my little story, if you want some details, it was inspired from a very old "pen & paper role playing game" called in french simply "Rêve de dragon" (Dragon dream), titled it seems in english "Rêve: the dream Ouroboros." http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%AAve_de_Dragon
Dragons, dragons, see, they are everywhere here :)

    1. I'm sorry for saying it like that but I'm SUPER smart.. plus, I have powers so it wasn't difficult to guess you like the Never Ending Story. Artax -there's a whole traumatized generation with this moment :( But..what do you mean you haven't EVER read the book? I'm so confused right now, you would totally love it! I wish someone had given it as a present when you were a child, my guess is you would totally have gone nuts for it, it's a book that spurns every child (or adult) imagination. Plus, if you only have seen the movie you don't really know how it ends since the movie it's just the first half of the book...!

Read it, trust me. If you don't like it...but I can't be that wrong, I'm sure you're gonna like it. If I'm wrong, I accept all responsability and possible psychological traumas. This and the Princess Bride are a must for everybody.

  9. I missed half of it ?! You convinced me. I've just bought the book on Amazon :) I admit. You do have great powers. And also a space-time illness :) Princess Bride, comme on. Been more than 10 years i havn't heard of that crazy (and deadly funny) movie :)

    1. Oh, now if you don't like the book I will feel a little bit guilty :( And don't tell me that me liking old books, old movies, old music, old whatever is a surprise for you, c'mon! It's like buying books via internet: if I can avoid it and go to a book store myself, much better :)

And princess bride is a great movie (although I hate the book). I saw it again this weekend -last time was like...12 years ago- and I didn't remember it being that funny!
